Infleqtion Raises Series C

Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, Infleqtion commercializes atom-based products that provide orders-of-magnitude improvements in sensing and computing applications. Glynn Capital led Infleqtion’s Series C financing, which included insiders Maverick, Global Frontier, and In-Q-Tel.

Built on Nobel Prize-winning science, Infleqtion is focused on neutral-atom quantum computing, one of several modalities in quantum that is showing promise. The company believes the development of a fully functional quantum computer is achievable with a neutral-atom approach within the coming decade. The company’s progress along this path has led to the development of specific, commercial applications of its quantum-based advancements.  In our view, one of the more interesting applications is with atomic clocks, or its Tiqker product line, which addresses the need for continuous access to precise timing in the data-center infrastructure market, an area that has been experiencing momentum in recent years. This momentum is tied directly to the high level of capital expenditure supporting AI applications both domestically and abroad.  The company has additional product categories in sensing and computing applications, all areas where its quantum-based products offer significant advantages to silicon-based alternatives in terms of computational speed, efficiency, form factor, and other key attributes.
